Casas Karen is a unique eco-friendly getaway located on one of Spain’s most beautiful and less discovered coastlines: the Costa de la Luz, which is named for its extraordinary light. We are located in the small beach town of Los Caños de Meca, just off the site where the Battle of Trafalgar took place in 1805.

Casas Karen pays tribute to life on the Costa de la Luz long before the tourists arrived comprising a collection of chozas (traditional, thatched straw houses) that were typical to the region in the eighteenth century, as well as converted farm buildings and scattered throughout our untamed, native gardens.
